Biography
Dr. Anurodh Mohan Dayal, M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Geology joined CSIR-NGRI in November 1978 and established First K-Ar geochronology lab in India for the age determination of various rock type. Initial work on K-Ar ages of mafic dykes from Dharwar craton to understand the thermal history of the craton with time. Later associated with Rb-Sr and Sm-Nd isotopic dating system and study the mafic dykes and lamprophyre and as major research on kimberlite from south, central and eastern India to understand the isotopic systematics and time of emplacement with related tectonics
